Well today is week five of my being back on track and doing what I need to do to lose weight properly. Every Monday morning the first thing I do (well, after peeing) is weigh myself. Why I chose Monday I have no idea, hindsight being what it is it probably isn’t the best day given that I am a social person and the weekends inevitably involve seeing friends, food and wine, lots and lots of wine.
This morning I weighed in at 72.8kg. Standing on my scale I tried leaning to the left, to the right, standing on one foot, I even sucked my belly in and held my breath and still this weeks loss is 300g, dam, blast and knickers!! I was so hoping for 400grams as that would have meant 5kg in 5 weeks. Guess I have to settle for 4.9kg. Hahaha!! Woohoo
I feel great, I feel well and happy, At 173cm tall I am back into a normal BMI range and my personal goal of 68kg, well watch out because here I come, it is a done deal
I follow the Weight Watchers plan, it is the only way to lose weight in a sustainable way. Something that you can do forever and it works, if you do it properly that is.
If you track honestly and accurately, if you deliberately move more each time you think about it, then it works.
So if you are someone who is struggling with weight loss, if you are someone who has great intentions but are somehow not finding the strength to follow through, think about it… How much time are you wasting? Why not make today the day that you stop making excuses, stop that ‘nearly doing it’ behaviour and do ALL of what you know you should be doing, do it properly…. well, what are you waiting for?? Go on….
PS: if I do a ‘number two’ in the next hour I might well weigh again and see if that 100g has gone LOLOL
